1 by 1 International is a growing humanitarian relief organization based out of Middlefield, CT.

They host fundraisers and events in order to spread the word about how they are changing the world one life at a time. Whether it’s holding a Free Car Wash while serving free coffee and cookies or putting together a photo booth for the Durham Fair, they’re always busy.

Liking what this non-profit organization was all about, I teamed up with them to develop a solid foundation for their brand.

We worked together to develop a website and promotional materials for their past and future events.

Website Design

The first deliverable for this project was a functional website to inform people and make it easy for them to get involved on all levels. The client also wanted the opportunity to update the Upcoming Events section, so we decided to host the website using Squarespace.com. This platform allows you to create/host a website, sell products or services, easily take payments, track website traffic, and more for a pretty reasonable price.

With a clean foundation through Squarespace, we were able to lay the website out in a way that was user-friendly and then customize it the way we wanted to by adding graphics and tweaking the CSS. The main goal of the website was to get people involved, so we implemented PayPal buttons and lead capturing forms to do this.

Graphic Design

The next deliverable, once the website went live, was to equip 1by1 International with professionally designed promotional materials that they can use at their events. By providing people with a handout that gives a general idea of what your business is, your able to increase interest and exposure while having a clean, clear, and consistent message from print to web.
